HB 306 requires all contractors and subcontractors that contract with the State or any political subdivision of the State for services to use the federal E-Verify program.

SB 145 forces the Secretary of the Department of Public Safety to enter into a 287g agreement; forces NC university system institutions to disclose the student’s immigration status if required by a state or federal agency; revokes the exception that allows law enforcement officers to accept a community ID.
