As part of this effort, we feel that to truly see lasting long term success, we must invest in our youth. The El Pueblo Latino Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to two North Carolina High School Latino graduateswho plan to attend a North Carolina community college or college/university.

Sun TrustIn 2004, El Pueblo was awarded by then Central Carolina Bank (CCB), currently SunTrust Bank, the lead gift for the fund at $10,000 for three consecutive years. El Pueblo provides two students scholarships of $5,000 per year with a commitment to support these two students for four-years. Fiesta 2007
Thanks! The 14th annual La Fiesta del Pueblo celebrated this past September 9-10th was a complete success by all accounts with about 30,000 people participating – it is still the largest Latin American Festival in the Carolinas! Collaborating with us were over 500 volunteers and
more than 200 nonprofits, government agencies as well as food vendors with delicacies from throughout the Americas. The following businesses invested in Fiesta giving their financial support and participating during the event.

Through La Fiesta, El Pueblo has brought the arts and cultures of Latin America to hundreds of thousands of people during the past ten years. Serving as a bridge for North Carolinians of allraces and ethnic groups, La Fiesta brings together descendants of Latin American and Spanishcultures to celebrate and showcase their heritage and traditions

We will be returning to the NC State Fairground in 2007—September 8th and 9th. Join us in
making La Fiesta an even more spectacular event where one which we hope fosters positive
relations between all residents of North Carolina.
