Childcare Providers Needed

El Pueblo, Inc. is looking for people with experience in the care of children who can provide their services during our meetings and events. These meetings are normally held at the end of the afternoon (5:00 – 9:00 pm) during the week and occasionally in the mornings during the week and weekends. During our meetings we offer care to children over two years of age. Parents of children who continue to wear diapers are responsible for changing the diapers of their own children.

Two or more child care providers must be present at all times providing child care. This makes it possible for child care providers to accompany children to the bathroom and for providers to protect children.

Child care providers will be guided by El Pueblo staff to provide learning activities and interactive activities while caring for children. Games and educational materials will be available for children to use under the supervision of the child care provider.

Child care providers will be paid at $ 15.00 per hour.

Requirements:

  • Being over 18 years.
  • Fill out form W-9 (with SSN or ITIN)
  • Comply with the provisions of the Safeguarding Policy for children and young people.
  • Participate in a 2-hour training on the prevention of child abuse, on November 21 at 5:30 pm at the offices of El Pueblo.
  • Background check
  • Having participated in any of the programs offered by El Pueblo is recommended.
