Over 70 organizations signed a letter addressed to Governor Roy Cooper, in response to the anti-immigrant threat launched by Representative Tim Moore last Wednesday, January 31. The letter, written and shared by the nonpartisan organization El Pueblo, was sent to the governor’s office Wednesday afternoon with 73 signatures of support from organizations, agencies and grassroots groups across the state.
Every Day, thousands of North Carolinians face an unclear future due to their immigration status.
