Is your vote being questioned by Judge Griffin?

Here's how to find out and what to do

Raleigh. Republican candidate Jefferson Griffin lost the November election to Democrat Allison Riggs in the race for the North Carolina Supreme Court but now, he is asking the courts to invalidate more than 60,000 votes, alleging they were cast irregularly.

According to official counts from the North Carolina Board of Elections (NCBOE), Griffin lost the election by 734 votes, but the results could not be certified due to the Republican candidate’s claim in state courts.

Griffin argues that those ballots should not be counted because those who cast them were not registered in accordance with the law, because they did not include their Social Security number or driver’s license number when they were registered to vote.
